Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat are the facilities like?The Royal Academy of Music has excellent facilities that are both inspiring and safe. The rooms at the Academy include a purpose built Dance studio, large teaching rooms and access to the Royal Academy's Museum of Instruments and Chimes Music Shop. How many children are there in a group?There are usually no more than 18 children in the Creative Music, Dance and Drama classes. All other classes including Singing, Orchestra, the warm up session and Performance Platform are taken together in the Dance Studio. Will my child need to bring a packed lunch?All children will need to bring a packed lunch and water with them every day of the course. However, juice and biscuits are provided free of charge and a small tuck shop where special treats can be bought. What standard do they have to be?Music 'n' Motion takes children from beginners to advanced and although no previous experience in the performing arts is necessary it is desirable. All Orchestral parts are tailor made for the individual abilities and are designed to be accessible yet stretch and develop their musicianship. |
